The Kiwanis Club of Brigham City – the premier service club in our area – is dedicated to improving the lives of children in our communities. We are passionate about making a difference; helping children grow and succeed is at the heart of everything we do.
Our club brings together people of diverse backgrounds and ages. We share our time and talents through service, community events, and fundraising. Together we can achieve so much, and we invite you to join us!
Founded in 1948, the Kiwanis Club of Brigham City became a chartered member of Kiwanis International. We serve the residents of Bear River City, Brigham City, Corinne City, Honeyville City, Perry City, the Town of Mantua, and Willard City. Our weekly meetings feature presentations on a variety of topics and plan service projects.
We support organizations that enhance the quality of life for local youth and back Kiwanis International initiatives. Our ongoing programs include:
Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) – monthly visits to Bear River Head Start during the school year
Hope of America Award – presented each year at six local elementary schools
New Teacher of the Year Award
Peach Days Fruit Display – an annual sponsorship
Box Elder High School Key Club – support since its inception
Annual Brigham City Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt
Kiwanis Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Peach Days Children’s Charity Fundraiser – held each year
“Bring Santa to Town” and the Brigham City Christmas Tree Lighting in the Brigham City Christmas Village
Are you ready to help create a community where every child can thrive, prosper, and grow? We invite you to get involved with our club today! By joining us, you’ll embark on a rewarding adventure and forge lifelong friendships built on a shared commitment to doing good for others.
Kiwanis Mission
Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children.
Kiwanis Vision
Kiwanis will be a positive influence worldwide so that, one day, every child wakes up in a community that believes in them, nurtures them, and provides the support they need to thrive.
Kiwanis Service
Service lies at the heart of every Kiwanis club, wherever it is located. Members stage nearly 150,000 service projects and raise almost US $100 million each year for communities, families, and causes. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
A Family of Servant Leaders
Kiwanis clubs change the world by serving children—one child, one community at a time. Many clubs sponsor “Kiwanis family” programs to broaden impact:
K‑Kids – for primary‑school children
Builders Clubs – for adolescents
Key Clubs – for teens
Circle K – for university students
Aktion Clubs – for adults living with disabilities
Kiwanis Six Objectives (adopted in 1924 and unchanged since)
Give primacy to human and spiritual values over material ones.
Encourage daily practice of the Golden Rule in all relationships.
Promote higher social, business, and professional standards.
Develop, by precept and example, more intelligent, proactive, and service‑oriented citizenship.
Provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, render altruistic service, and build better communities.
Cooperate in creating and maintaining sound public opinion and high idealism that foster righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.
Are you ready to help create communities that let all children thrive, prosper and grow? It’s pretty easy to do! Simply contact us with your questions and apply for Kiwanis club membership here.
