Brigham City Kiwanis Foundation

Charitable Organization

The Brigham City Kiwanis Foundation operates as a tax‑exempt 501(c)(3) charity. It generates revenue through its various fundraising events and then redistributes those proceeds to other deserving nonprofit groups, with a special focus on programs that benefit children.

Governance of the Foundation rests with a Board of Directors composed entirely members of the Kiwanis Club of Brigham City. The Board follows a distinct set of bylaws that define how the Foundation is run.

The Foundation’s chief responsibility is to support in the funding of service projects for the Kiwanis Club. Each year it determines the total amount of money the Club may allocate. From there, the Club’s officers and its charitable committees decide exactly how those funds will be distributed.

Both the Kiwanis Club of Brigham City and its Foundation are entirely volunteer‑run; there are no paid staff members or salaried officers. Aside from minimal administrative expenses, every dollar raised or donated to the Foundation is directed toward charitable initiatives.
